GETTING THERE

Hotel Borgholm is located in the middle of Borgholm on its central pedestrian street.

DIRECTIONS

By bus: Get off at Stenbergsgatan stop. Go north-west on Storgatan towards Stenbergsgatan. Then turn left to continue on Storgatan. Then turn left onto Trädgårdsgatan. 500 meters between the stop and the hotel.Contact us at the hotel if you want transportation between the stop and the hotel.
Plan your trip with Kalmar county traffic.

By train: There are no train connections on Öland. The nearest train connection is to Kalmar. Plan your train trip to Kalmar via SJ. From there you combine the journey by bus to us in Borgholm. From Kalmar C there are direct buses to Borgholm (Stenbergsgatan stop) which takes about 50 minutes. Plan your bus trip with Kalmar county traffic.

By boat: If you come to Borgholm by boat, we recommend that you add at Borgholm’s guest harbor. From the guest harbor to the hotel it is 450 meters. Contact us if you would like assistance with transportation between the guest harbor and the hotel.

By car: Drive the journey towards Kalmar. As you approach Kalmar, the signs begins to Öland. Drive over the Öland bridge and continue north, road 136, about 35 km to Borgholm.Take left at the signpost to Borgholm C (at traffic lights) and continue Storgatan straight down. Turn left to Tullgatan. Then turn right to Södra Långgatan and then the 2nd cross street onto Trädgårdsgatan.

If you come to us by car, we recommend that you and your friends always strive to mutilate.

PARKING

Bicycle: Bicycle stand is located at the hotel courtyard.

 

Car: There is free parking along the streets of Borgholm. Just follow the general rules for parking. Just outside the hotel’s main entrance is a 15-minute parking to facilitate check-in and check-out.

CHARGING

Electricity: In Borgholm there are seven public charging stations. Read more about loading stations here.

 

Ethanol: At OKQ8 which is located at Storgatan 41, Borgholm you can refuel Etanol E85 (as well as Gasoline and Diesel)
