At Hotell Borgholm, we process your personal data in various contexts, e.g. when you order services from us, stay overnight at our hotels, use services that we provide and in other contexts. We process your personal data in accordance with the current Swedish data protection regulation, hereinafter GDPR.

  • Personal data controller for your personal data

Our company Hotell Borgholm, org. no. 556103-2458, Trädgårdsgatan 15-19, 387 31 Borgholm, tel. 0485-770 60, e-mail info@hotellborgholm.com is responsible for the processing of personal data in our systems for booking, invoicing and hotel operations. We are also responsible for the processing of our marketing and sending of e-mails to our customers and other contacts.

  • Processing of personal data in connection with booking overnight accommodation and stay

In connection with the bookings that you make yourself or that others make on your behalf, we process personal data that we need to be able to fulfill the agreement on booking and purchase of services. This refers to information that you have provided to us directly or that you have provided to us via a travel agency or an agent. We treat e.g. information regarding your identity, your contact details and your payment information. In some cases, we save your passport number. In addition, we process other information that you may have provided that is important for your stay with us. This may refer to information about allergies or special requests regarding your stay. We register all purchases and orders you make with us, e.g. restaurant, room service, for us to be able to deliver these services and for you to be able to pay for them.

We process this data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the booking agreement with you, and also for as long as applicable laws and regulations require us to do so.

  • Processing of personal data for marketing purposes

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we save and use your email address to send you news and offers from us.

We also use your e-mail address or telephone number to send news and offers in accordance with rules regarding existing customer relationships. Our basis for this is the Marketing Act.

We may contact you via social media after your consent or in accordance with existing customer relationships. In order to use social media as a communication channel, we must disclose your email address or phone number to the social media. Our basis for this is consent or legitimate interests.
