SMALL & SIMPLE
As the name suggests, the hotel's smallest and simplest room. Here the standard is as the name suggests and the rooms are located high up with windows facing the courtyard. Suitable for shorter stays where the goal is not to stay at the hotel, but to experience Öland. With newly renovated bathrooms and despite the size and standard, you will live comfortably in comfortable beds, our unique linen collection and with free wi-fi, just like in all our rooms together with our prized breakfast. These rooms are accessed via a short staircase and are therefore not suitable for disabled people.

RIGHT & GOOD
This room category is the one we have the most of and the comfort is as the name suggests. Fully tiled bathrooms and many nice details in the interior.
Amenities include a kettle, mini fridge and free Wi-Fi. This room category has different locations in the hotel and the decor varies depending on where. The beds vary from queen size to divisible double beds. Some rooms have a bathtub, others a shower so for specific requests please contact us when booking.
In this category there are a limited number of rooms that are suitable for pets, the booking must be contacted to see the availability of these rooms.

LARGE & COMFORTABLE
In our Large & Comfortable category, the rooms are premium, large and spacious with modern interior design by Christine Schwarzer and Joel Karlsson, among others. Genuine details, lavish and comfortable.
Some rooms have a bathtub, others a shower with fully tiled bathrooms so always contact us when booking for specific requests. All rooms are fully equipped with all amenities such as bathrobes, coffee machine and free wi-fi. Some rooms in this category have the option of an extra bed.

UNIQUE & LUXURIOUS – RAKSTUGAN GARDEN SUITE
According to our regular guests, our coziest room is in our own little shaving room which is located in our herb garden. This used to be a shaving room with a hairdresser before the house was converted into a hotel room. Large bed made in exclusive linen, bathrobes and tailor-made skin care products in the bathroom. All amenities such as coffee/tea maker, minibar, raincoats in collaboration with Stutterheim together with furniture and interior design from Swedish designers such as Yngve Ekström.

UNIQUE & LUXURIOUS – TAKÅSEN JUNIOR SUITE
The Takåsen junior suite is located in the main building and is in a gray color scheme. Inspired by the limestone “Hors” and the island’s many ancient castles. Our junior suite at the roof ridge at the top of the house is newly renovated with a stone bathroom, double leather sofas in the lounge, Egg armchairs from Arne Jacobsen and a king-size bed with exclusive linen, bathrobes and custom-made spa products from Ingrid K. Extra amenities such as a coffee/tea maker, minibar from Smeg, cocktail set and solid guest items where you can borrow, among other things, raincoats from Stutterheim and Yoga equipment from Yogiraj during your stay. This room is accessed via a short staircase and is therefore not suitable for people with disabilities.

UNIQUE & LUXURIOUS – SNICKARPELLES CEILING WHITE
Snickarpelle was the carpenter who in the 1800th century carried out carpentry in the hotel's oldest house, located in our Herb Garden. Our only master suite with separate living room and bedroom. Kingsize bed from Jensen with exclusive linen, bathrobes and tailor-made spa products from Ingrid K in the room. Extra amenities such as coffee/tea maker, minibar, cocktail set and solid guest items together with raincoats from Stutterheim during your stay. This room is reached via a short staircase and is therefore not suitable for people with functional disabilities. This room has the option of two extra beds in the sofa bed.

Checking into one of Snickarpelle's garden rooms is like stepping into the history of Hotel Borgholm. Our oldest buildings from the 1800th century where "Snickarpelle" had his workshop and where the neighbor at that time housed a barber shop. Today, spacious suites are all unique in their kind where all rooms have bathtubs, beds made with exclusive linen and with furnishings from well-known designers.
