In order for your upcoming visit with us at Hotell Borgholm to be as good as possible, we have listed below some good things to know and think about.
When can I check in?
It is fine to check in from 15:00.
Which means of payment can I pay with?
We are a cashless hotel. We accept all types of payment cards and Swish.
Where do I park?
There is free parking along Borgholm's streets. Just make sure to follow the general rules for parking.
Just outside the hotel's main entrance, there is a 15-minute parking lot to facilitate check-in and check-out. There are many municipal parking spaces around the hotel, so there is usually no problem finding a suitable parking space.
What can I do on Öland?
There is everything between heaven and earth to do. Please visit Öland's official website at Öland.se for tips and inspiration.
Bathrobes in the room?
Our “Large & Comfortable” and “Unique & Luxurious” rooms with our suites include bathrobes, coffee/tea makers and customized guest amenities. It doesn't work in the “Small & Simple” rooms. and “Just right & good”
Can I bring a dog to the hotel?
We have a number of rooms that welcome your pet friends in the “Adequate & Good” room category. Always contact the hotel when booking a room to ask if there are any available pet-friendly rooms.
We charge a small fee and wish that the dog is not left alone in the hotel room for a longer period of time.

Out of consideration for other guests, dogs are not allowed on public areas in the lounge/restaurant or in our herb garden. However, it is fine to sit outside with the dog in the inner garden.

Can I charge my car?
The nearest charging station for electric cars is on the square in Borgholm. four charging posts 22kw each, outlet 2. The parking time there for charging electric cars has increased to 4 hours.
Is there a gym at the hotel?
No unfortunately, but we have a collaboration with Malkars Gym where our resident guests exercise freely about 600m from the hotel.
Is there WIFI?
Yes, we offer free WiFi.
Extra beds for children?
In some of our rooms, you can buy an extra bed for your child(ren). Children up to and including 3 years old can be included in the room's regular beds.

HOTEL BORGHOLM'S RULES OF PROCEDURE
- These rules state the rules that you as a guest need to adhere to when staying at Hotell Borgholm. This is not a complete list, as Hotell Borgholm may also take various measures for safety reasons on other occasions.
- We will require you to identify yourself upon arrival, bring valid ID. For those of you who are not registered in Sweden, you are also required by law to fill out a registration card.
- Behave with respect and show consideration for hotel employees, other guests and people staying at the hotel. Threats, harassment and discrimination are not permitted.
- We report all crimes that occur at our hotel to the police.
- We have the right to refuse and reject you who are overintoxicated from the hotel's restaurant and bar or other public areas where alcohol is served.
- Alcohol brought with you may only be consumed in your hotel room, not in other parts of the hotel such as the garden or lounge areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in the room or in other hotel premises, nor at the hotel entrances by law. This applies to cigarettes, vapes or similar. In the event of unauthorized smoking, we will charge SEK 3000 for cleanup. In the event of a fire call, the full cost of the call will be charged.
- It is not permitted to use nitrous oxide in our hotel.
- It is not permitted to bring people who are not guests of the hotel to the room after 21.00:XNUMX PM. At other times, people who want to accompany you up to a room must be registered at the reception before arrival.
- It is not permitted to bring weapons into the hotel. If you have a hunting license and need to bring your weapon, please contact the reception in advance.
- You may only leave waste that is normal for a hotel visit, so-called household waste. It is not permitted to leave bulky and hazardous waste, such as gas cylinders and larger batteries, at the hotel. We reserve the right to charge SEK 1000 when leaving bulky/hazardous waste.
- If the room is left in a condition that requires remediation or extra cleaning, we reserve the right to charge SEK 2500, or the higher amount that the remediation costs.
- Keep the noise level in the room to a normal level. After 22 p.m., the rooms and hallways should be quiet so that you do not disturb other guests.
- For safety reasons, it is not permitted to charge hoverboards, electric bicycles, scooters, drones or other larger rechargeable products at our hotel.
- Due to fire risk, you should always unplug all plugs for your personal belongings (mobile phone chargers, computer chargers, etc.) when you leave the room. If we notice during cleaning or during our daily room check that plugs have not been unplugged, we have the right to unplug them.
- It is prohibited to cover, remove or otherwise disable smoke detectors in the room. A charge of SEK 2500 will be charged if this is not followed.
- If you cause a false fire alarm intentionally or through negligence, and the emergency services respond, the hotel will charge you for the response cost.
- Public registration is not allowed at our hotel.
- For security reasons, we do not accept shipments such as letters or packages to guests at our hotel.
- It is not permitted to use our network for illegal activities or otherwise compromise the IT security of our systems.
- It is not permitted to use candles, electric stoves, gas stoves or similar in our hotel rooms.
PENALTIES
- If you, as a guest, have behaved in a manner that is contrary to these rules, have not been able to make full payment for your accommodation at the hotel or have caused damage, the hotel reserves the right to refuse continued or future accommodation at Hotell Borgholm.
DEBITING/COSTS
- You as a guest, or the person who is the guarantor of the room, are responsible for any costs and/or damages caused to the hotel or third parties in connection with the stay. You are obliged to replace any movable property that is broken or illegally removed from the hotel room or other areas of the hotel property.
