The landscape of Öland is unique with its calcareous soil and flourishing meadows. This is where we find both inspiration and the core for our kitchen. From our own Herbal Garden we get scents and flavours which state their herbal flavouring touch to our dishes and by using creativity we renew the traditional
kitchen at Hotel Borgholm.
Having power, creativity, flavour, locally produced and a season based Öland, we now pass on the legacy from Karin Fransson’s legendary cooking to
reach new horizons.
– We name it The Gastronomic ”Alvar”.
